The Project: Supplying the Sumer Adela 3D Vertical Autoclave (115 L)
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting Jordan’s academic and research institutions, Alghanem’s Lab & Education Division recently supplied the Environmental Monitoring Center at BAU with the Sumer Adela 3D Vertical Autoclave (115 L) — a high-performance sterilization unit designed for laboratory, healthcare, and environmental monitoring applications.

The autoclave was selected to meet the demanding operational requirements of BAU’s Environmental Monitoring Center, which plays a critical role in supporting environmental research, testing, and academic training across the university.
The Training Program: Autoclave Sterilization Excellence
Following the successful installation of the autoclave, Alghanem’s team of qualified engineers conducted a comprehensive, hands-on training program for the BAU center’s technical staff and end users.
The training was structured to cover three core areas:
1. Equipment Operation & Controls Participants received a detailed walkthrough of the autoclave’s control panel, operational cycles, and settings — ensuring every team member could confidently operate the unit from day one.
2. Best Practices & Safety Protocols The training emphasized industry-standard sterilization best practices, including loading techniques, cycle selection, pressure and temperature monitoring, and post-cycle handling. Safety protocols were given particular attention to protect both personnel and the integrity of sterilized materials.
3. Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting To extend the operational life of the equipment and minimize downtime, participants were trained on routine maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting techniques — reducing dependency on external support for minor operational issues.
The program was delivered through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical, hands-on sessions directly on the installed unit, ensuring that learning was immediately applicable in a real-world laboratory environment.
